You can check out what she said below.

.

Why did you decide to apply for an internship abroad?

I decided to apply for a hospitality placement internship abroad as I want to explore different cultures and the hospitality industry out of the UK. I specifically chose a course that included International Hospitality which would open doors to a career abroad. I have always wanted to visit New Zealand and when this opportunity arose I knew I had to take it. I feel this internship abroad will take my experience in hospitality to a higher level and will also build my independence further.

.

How do you think this will help you in the future?

I think this placement will help me in the future greatly as employers will see that I am experienced and dedicated enough to achieve my goals. The experience from working in a high class hotel will give me the confidence to work in new environments. In addition this will show employers that I am willing to broaden my horizons.

.

What are you most looking forward to in New Zealand?

I am looking forward to meeting new people and working in the New Zealand environment. I have always wanted to work abroad and therefore this work placement will give a taste of what New Zealand has to offer, and I will be able to explore the lovely country that is highly recommended.

.

What do you hope to achieve/ learn on your internship abroad?

I hope to achieve a greater understanding of how New Zealand and British hospitality industries differ from each other. I hope to create good relations with customers and staff alike, so their experience, as well as mine, is the best it could be. Once I have laid foundations for my career, New Zealand could be the desired place I want to live and work in the future, so by HTE Internships giving me this opportunity, I can make informed decisions based on my experiences.

.

How do you think future employers will view your time abroad?

I think employers will view my time abroad as a good base for gaining life experience. I would hope that they would see that this proves, at such a young age, that I am willing to ‘go the extra mile’ to achieve my ambitions and aspirations.

.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how excited are you?

15! I cannot wait! What times the flight?!
